Meal Time

The giant slug's rubbery maw lurched forward and another few inches of Alison's hips disappeared inside the creature.  The woman stretched out an arm, hoping that Maddie would pull her out of the creatures mouth, but Maddie only gave her a little wave of goodbye.

"Such a pity you didn't follow my orders and search the eastern cave Allison.  My pet may be responsible for those missing tourists but that's no reason the constables should put him down.  Even giant slugs deserve a meal after all, and they really shouldn't have wandered out beyond the resort boundaries.  I'll let the other members of the search party think you wandered off on your own without me.  These caves are very dangerous after all, and full of all sorts of hazards.  Bye bye!"
