Hot Slave In The City

"Go to the copper lane gate and tell the guardsman there that the sky is too richly blue today, slave." Huan's Master had said.  "Then return quickly.  The porridge must be started soon for tonight's meal." 

She did not understand why he wanted her to say such a strange phrase to the man, yet did not hesitate to head out the door of the house.  Her Master did not tolerate dawdling when a command was given.  She had no desire to feel the taste of his whip again.
 
As she walked quickly down to the gate she looked around the city and the magnificent buildings and architecture.  Her Master had brought her to the city in the usual manner; bound and blindfolded in a cart with his other purchases.  She had not gotten to see any of the city that was to be her new home.  Nor had she seen much of the place in the intervening weeks.  Her Master had kept her in the back rooms, cooking and serving the guests he frequently entertained.


Artists note : This started out as a simple test of an Asian skin tone using the iRay renderer.  Of course when I posted it I couldn't resist adding a story to fit the pic, though the pic really doesn't show many of the details that the story relates, which kind of annoys me.
